Jason asked me to post a few pictures from yesterdays Mother's Day Tea at Prairie Estates. This was our second year to host the event and the residents again had a wonderful time. A big thank you to the church members who made food, Larry Barnett for the outstanding music performance, and all of the lovely volunteers who came to help with set-up and serving.
Another highlight for the residents was having a Girl Scout Troop and a Brownie Troop there to serve the food and to present them with flowers. Church member Sandy Son also brought a special poem, written in 1927 by her Grandmother for her mother, that Laura shared with our guests.
